2019 Battle of Cedar Creek Reenactment
Share the experience of the Battle of Cedar Creek Reenactment on October 19-20, 2019 at the Cedar Creek Battlefield in Middletown, Virginia. The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation will host the reenactment event on the original fields in Middletown, Virginia where the original battle was fought on October 19, 1864. Battles will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Experience military, Battle of Cedar Creek Reenactment, civilian, and living history camps, live period music, and educational demonstrations. Tour suttler’s row and shop for unique ‘period’ gifts, crafts, and food vendors.
Battle of Cedar Creek Reenactment
The Battle of Cedar Creek Reenactment site is located just of I-81 on US 11 just south of Middletown. Proceeds benefit preservation of the Cedar Creek Battlefield. Hosted by the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation.
Camps will open at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Registration fees are listed below for adults and teens 13 years of age and older. Children 8 to 12 years of age are ½ price. Children 7 and under are free. All minors must have a parental release form signed and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Early Registration – $20: Now through March 1st. 2019
Spring Registration – $25: March 2nd – May 31st
Regular Registration – $30: June 1st – August 31st
Late Registration – $35: Sept 1st – Sept 30th
Walk-ons are restricted and must register in advance: Due to revised security procedures, all “Walk-On” applicants will need to register online in advance, prior to September 30, 2019. A fee of $40 will apply, payable upon arrival
