Brown University Spring Thaw Powwow
The Brown University Spring Thaw Powwow, like other powwows across the country, is a gathering that includes ‘powwow-style- dancing, singing, vendors and food. For many Native American tribes, powwows are a place to teach younger generations about tribal traditions and pride in their heritage. Come join the Native American Heritage Series and Native Americans at Brown in recognizing this annual social tradition at the university.
