2018 Choctaw Casino Pow Wow
All are invited to the 14th Annual Choctaw Casino Pow Wow on December 1-2, 2018 at the Choctaw Event Center in Durant, Oklahoma. The Choctaw Casino Pow Wow, held on the first Saturday and Sunday each December, welcomes 30 different tribes from all around the U.S. and Canada and features 48 dance contests. Drum and dance competitors have a chance to compete for more than $100,000. In addition to the dancing and singing, guests can browse and shop dozens of Native American arts and crafts and food booths. The event is free and open to the public and it’s family friendly with fun for everyone.
Choctaw Casino Pow Wow
Hundreds of Native North American dancers and thousands of spectators are expected to attend what has become one of the most popular winter pow wows in the US. Big contest prize money is part of the reason for the popularity of the Choctaw Casino Pow Wow, but is is also the hospitality provided by the Choctaw Nation, the Choctaw Casino and the city of Durant. Participants and spectators alike are made to feel welcome.
The Pow Wow provides a way to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the Choctaw Nation, the tribes in Oklahoma, and really all the tribes throughout Indian country.

To register, contact the Pow Wow Committee via email at choctawpowwow@choctawnation.com. Registration forms will be sent electronically or via mail. Registration forms will be turned in with W9’s at the Pow Wow beginning December 1st. $100,000 in prize money will be awarded at the all-day event that celebrates the rich colors and culture of Native Americans.
