Don’t miss the 20th Annual Duncans Mills Civil War Days Reenactment on July 20-21, 2019 in Duncans Mills, California. This is Northern California’s largest American Civil War reenactment, and one of the largest reenactments west of the Mississippi! Every July, people from all over flock to the beautiful Russian River Valley to watch history come alive. This amazing event encompasses living history at its best with civil war period clad individuals performing battle scenarios and offering historical information about their equipment and character. Good location, no visible vehicles, telephone, or power cables. Mild
weather. Midday food available for purchase. Sutlers on site close
to camps. Saturday night dance.
Bleachers and straw bales are provided for seating during battle scenarios but you are welcome to bring your own chair. There is a hot dog shack if you get hungry or you can bring a picnic! Plan to stay all day to get the most out of your Duncans Mills Civil War Days Reenactment historical experience!
