Join us for our 14th Annual Native American Style Cosby Powwow celebration on August 26-27, 2017 in Cosby, Tennessee. The Native American Style Cosby Powwow will feature Drumming, Singing, Dancing, Storytelling and Demonstrations. There will be over 40 crafters from near and far with wonderful Native American Style crafts for you to enjoy. There will be Teepees from the plains and encampments from different eras in time. We will have wonderful dancers in beautiful regalia dancing for the creator for you to behold. NOTE: This event is no longer being held due to sale of property.

We will also have our Games and Gardens of our Ancestors Arena where you can try your hand at throwing a Tomahawk, or Knife, shoot a traditional Cherokee Blowgun. The kids can try the corncob darts. There will be several programs to pay tribute to the Military and Homeland Security of our past, present, and future. The Native American Style Cosby Powwow is an open intertribal event; a teaching powwow for everyone! We’re also a family friendly event, so bring everyone, and some folding chairs as seating is limited.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us.
We use the phrase “Native American Style” to show respect. We are descendants, we do not live on reservations and we do not hold Federal cards. We simply want to share our Native Heritage and Culture with everyone. We welcome all walks of life, and hope to learn from each and every one of you. We are here for the creator and for fellowship.
