2019 Paiute Creek Renegades Rendezvous
Join us for the 40th Annual Paiute Creek Renegades Rendezvous on May 30 – June 2, 2019 at the Stroing Ranch near Mountain Meadows Reservois/Walker Lake at Westwood, California. This family oriented event celebrates the pre-1840’s fur trade era with primitive skill contests such as archery, tomahawk and knife throwing, and muzzle loader target shooting. Period correct attire is encouraged, but not required to attend or participate. Trail Walks competition includes: Rifle, Pistol, Hawk & Knife, Fort Shoot, and Archery Trail.
About the Paiute Creek Renegades
Paiute Creek Renegades is a sub group of the Sierra Sportsman Club. This group was established at the same time as the original SierraSportsman organization. The Renegades are about the shooting of traditional muzzle loading firearms at an off-site location annually at what is referred to as a rendezvous. This event is held on private land owned by the Stroing family behind Walker Lake. This family has graciously allowed us to hold this event on their beautiful property for many years.
