2019 Pike River Rendezvous
Join us for the 22nd Annual Pike River Rendezvous on August 3-4, 2019 at the Simons Island Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin. At the Pike River Rendezvous, the Colonial through Western Fur Trade era of the 1650s through 1850s will come alive. Pike River Rendezvous is a family-friendly, free event. Highlights of the event including storytelling, musical entertainment and pirate battles, along with more than 300 reenactors adding to the atmosphere.
Pike River Rendezvous
Throughout the Pike River Rendezvous, visitors will be able to go back in time to an era when Native Americans and fur traders gathered to exchange goods and services and to celebrate. Costumed reenactors talk about what life was like during the fur-trading era and will demonstrate the crafts and trades of the time. Learn to die fabric trade with trappers throw a hawk start a fire and many more interesting things. Our event is a invite only, and is dedicated to holding a Historical event. Food, snacks, and souvenirs will be available from vendors, and people are welcome to participate in games, create crafts, and try their hand at period household chores.
The Pike River Rendezvous is located on Simmons Island (50th Street at Kenosha’s Lakefront). Free parking is available at Kennedy Park (40th Street and Fifth Avenue). The Pike River Rendezvous is completly free to the public, and free to participants as well. Participant reenactors are provided water, Porta Johns, and wood (ice on site for sale).

Access & Parking
Free parking is available at Kennedy Park, located at 40th Street and Fifth Avenue. Access to Simmons Island will be limited to non-motorized traffic. A horse-drawn wagon offers a free shuttle service to the event.
