2017 Talihina Festival Pow Wow
Come out and experience the 48th Annual Talihina Festival Pow Wow on April 8, 2017 at Talihina School Gym in Talihina, Oklahoma. The Talihina Festival Pow Wow features handmade arts and crafts, food concessions and intertribal dancing. The Talihina Festival Powwow is a celebration of dance and a gathering of friends and family. Gourd dancing will take place throughout the day with a break for an evening meal. In the evening, enjoy the sights and sounds of the Talihina Indian Festival Powwow’s spectacular grand entry at 7pm, followed by intertribal dancing featuring men’s fancy dance, traditional, straight and grass and women’s Southern cloth, buckskin, fancy shawl and jingle dances. There will also be a Tiny Tots contest for ages 0-6.
