Experience the West Point Keepers of the Peace Powwow on May 7, 2017 at the Trophy Point Amphitheater in West Point, New York. Everyone is welcome at this family-friendly event. Enjoy Native American food and craft vendors. All dancers are welcome. Ages 16 and older must have a valid photo identification card (driver’s license, passport, student id) to show at the entry gate to West Point.

The Cadet Native American Heritage Forum plans and hosts the Annual West Point Keepers of the Peace Powwow. The forum hosts this event annually to demonstrate to the community and prospective cadets that West Point is an inclusive environment where all races and ethnicities are not only welcome, but celebrated.
The West Point Keepers of the Peace Powwow includes Native American drum groups and Native American dancers from multiple tribes. The dancers participate in intertribal, specialty, and social dances that also allow the public to participate. There are also two Birds of Prey performances (Extreme Raptors) which include a variety of hawks, owls, a vulture, and a bald eagle.
