2019 Peninsula Long Rifles Rendezvous
Come join us at the 47th Peninsula Long Rifles Rendezvous on July 25-28, 2019 in Sequim, Washington. Shooters, non-shooters, traders, and visitors – everyone is welcome. Spectators are free and there is a lot to see and do. Experience trail shooting, range shooting – both competitive and fun events. So come join us for a fun-filled weekend at our Peninsula Long Rifles Summer Rendezvous. Besides the shooting competition, there will be a Saturday hay scramble, game and candy cannon for the young’uns. Way a great way to relive our Mountain Man / Fur Trade history.

Reenactors dressed in pre-1840s fur trade era attire will explore what it was like to be an American frontiersman during the late 18th and early 19th centuries at the annual Rendezvous hosted by Peninsula Long Rifles. The Peninsula Long Rifles Rendezvous, which begins Friday, goes through Sunday on a 20-acre site southwest of Sequim at Slab Camp Road.

Shooters Fees (early registration vs. fee at gate)
Traders(+ prize donation) $45 / $50
Adults (16+) $45 / $50
Junior Shooters (10-15) $25 / $30
Family Maximum (2 adults & dependents) $90 / $95
The event is free to spectators not participating in the events. Those interested in participating in shooting sports can register at the gate. Registration includes a steak dinner, entertainment and educational programs Saturday, and a pancake breakfast Sunday.
The Peninsula Long Rifles club is devoted to the art of primitive shooting, something events such as trail shooting, range shooting, primitive archery and tomahawk throwing help encourage.
Many traders will be displaying a wide variety of both shooting and personal primitive and period wares. There will be a Saturday hay scramble and candy cannon for the kids. What a great way to relive our Mountain Man / Fur Trader history!
No water or firewood available on site so bring your own.
Directions
- To get to the camp, take Taylor Cut Off Road south from U.S. Highway 101, then take a right at the “Y” intersection onto Lost Mountain Road.
- From there, take a left on Slab Camp Road, which is a dirt road. The site is about half a mile farther on the left.
- Signs will be posted.
- The five-mile drive from the highway takes about 10 minutes, organizers said.
