Join us at the Buffalo Run Fur Traders Rendezvous on September 9-11, 2016, about 17 miles north of Muldrow, Oklahoma and experience the commerce of the wild frontier as re-enactors take visitors back to the time of fur trappers and traders at the Fur Trade Era Rendezvous. Learn about the lifestyle of the time period between 1820 and 1850 through high-spirited competitions, educational stations and much more. Step back in time to when the West was young as you experience a wide variety of living history presentations including storytellers in character and participants in period clothing.

Get up close to primitive campsites and learn some of the survival skills used by mountain men and fur traders of the 1800s. Watch a variety of demonstrations including muzzle loading rifles, tomahawk throwing and more!

The Buffalo Run Fur Traders Rendezvous is taking place at a beautiful place on the bank of babbling Lees Creeks lots of trees and lots of room.

Location: 17 miles north of Muldrow, Oklahoma (see directions below)

Primitive Camping $10 per adult
Trader Fee: Prize donation (limit 2 adults)

Directions from I-40
Take Muldrow Exit #321, turn north towards Muldrow. Follow road (Main St./648) through town for 11 miles. Turn east (right) nto Highway 101. Go 6 miles to S 4749 Road. Turn right onto S 4749 Road. Continue to low-water bridge. Cross bridge and immediately turn left and follow road to event.
