2019 NCIPA Powwow
Join us for the 27th Annual Spring NCIPA Powwow and Indian Art Market on April 13-14, 2019 at the Northside Aztlan Community Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The public is invited to experience a colorful, two-day celebration of northern Colorado’s largest Native American gathering of over 30 tribes represented from the Rocky Mountain and Great Plains regions. The powwow features Native American music, dancing, singing, arts and crafts, and food.
NCIPA Powwow and Indian Art Market
The Grand Entry, which introduces all of the tribal dancer contestants wearing their colorful Native regalia and powwow participants, will begin at approximately 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and again on Sunday at approximately 12 noon. NCIPA powwow provides opportunities throughout the weekend for the public to experience the Native American cultures through the Children’s Activity Center, food, arts and crafts vendors, and music, dancing and singing during the intertribal dancing.
NCIPA Powwow Admission:
Ages: 13 and older – $6/day or $10/weekend
Ages: 6-12 – $3/day or $5/weekend
Ages: 5 and younger – Free
Registered Dancers and Singers: Free
Public is Invited!! Everyone is welcome!
Bring your own lawn chairs.
Admission fees pay for the building rental fee and the insurance.

- Arts and Crafts Vendors will be open for business: Saturday – 10:00 a.m.; and Sunday – 10:00 a.m.
- The Native food concession will open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Menu includes Indian Tacos, frybread, beef stew, and frito pie.
- These times are approximate. Due to the numbers of people involved in the powwow, we will try our best to begin as close as possible to the scheduled times.

- PLEASE use the dancer/singer entrance on the NE side of the gymnasium.
- FREE admission for registered dancers and singers.
- Point System will be used.
- Contestants must be in two Grand Entries to be eligible for prize money.
