2019 Ottawa Summer Solstice Competition Pow Wow
Join us for the annual Ottawa Summer Solstice Competition Pow Wow on June 22-23, 2019 at the Vincent Massey Park in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Competition Powwow is part of a larger festival that begins on June 19 and takes place in two other local venues. The heart of the festival, however, is the Ottawa Summer Solstice Competition Pow Wow. Extremely visual, this competition Pow Wow attracts some of the best singers and dancers from across Turtle Island (aka: North America) to compete for $75,000 in prizes. It’s an exciting way to experience the rich culture of the First Nations people.
