2019 PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation SC Pow Wow
All are welcome at the 12th Annual PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation SC Pow Wow on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Warrior Creek Tribal Grounds in Gray Court, South Carolina. Join us to celebrate Native American culture in dance and song. Activities include: Luck of the Draw Dance Contest, Drumming, Flute Music, Dancing, Story Telling, Hand Made Crafts, Fry Bread & other Native Foods, Games & Raffles. Seating is limited, so bring your own chairs. Our powwow is a family friendly event. No alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed and smoking is in a designated area.

The PAIA Lower Eastern Cherokee Nation SC is made up of Cherokee families who have called these hills, valleys, lakes, streams, and rivers home for many years. As far as the eye can see, this was our home. The Bryants, Arrowoods, Hayes, Hammitts, Crowe, and Adams are a few of the families that have had family members living in this area since the first white contact with the Cherokees in the 1540s.
