Santa Rosa County Creek Indian Tribe Pow Wow
The Santa Rosa County Creek Indian Tribe will celebrate their heritage with this 2-day fall festival that is free and open to the public, with the aim of not only to entertain, but to also engage the public with an element of local history they might not know about or seen often.
It is the mission of the Santa Rosa County Creek Indian Tribe to bring together the descendants and teach the history and heritage of the Creek people. In this event, children can learn to shoot soft bow and arrows, men and women can take part in traditional tribal dances, and families learn more about their cultural history and what their ancestors might have been like. Some can even become official Creek tribe members.
FREE Admission, No drugs or alcohol allowed!
The annual Pow Wow is always held the second to last weekend in November.
