2017 Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow
Central Florida’s International Market World, presents its annual Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow event in Auburndale, Florida. The family-centered event will run two big weekends on January 6-8 and again January 13-15, 2017. The festival runs Friday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 10 am to 9:00 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.

Family Entertainment:
The entertainment presented at Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow appeals to a variety of audiences, and any age. This year’s schedule includes an Indian Village with historic artifacts, a warriors on horseback show, birds of prey demonstration, archery demonstration, intertribal dance competition, artisans and crafters, Native American food and music.
Workshops will be offered on a variety of topics.
Field Trips and Group Tours:
The Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow provides an ideal venue for a field trip for area schools. Admission for children is free on Fridays. The Spirit of the Buffalo Pow Wow is a live exhibition of a real 19th-century Indian camp of Creek and Comanche tribes, where the residents dressed in full period regalia demonstrated the primitive skills and camp life of Native American culture in 1800s Wild West.
