2019 Suscol Intertribal Council Powwow
All are welcome at the 26th Annual Suscol Intertribal Council Powwow on October 5, 2019 at the Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa, California. Experience Native American traditions and Culture at the Suscol Intertribal Council Powwow through the drumming, dancing, crafts and Native food. Open to the public – all ages, all ethnicities. Enjoy a family friendly weekend of sound and color; of dancers in beautiful regalia; of singers around the drum providing the songs and beat to which they move.
Suscol Intertribal Council Powwow
Participants at the Suscol Intertribal Council Powwow are invited to sing, drum and dance to enjoy the Native American culture. The powwow will be Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to dusk each day at the Yountville Veterans Home’s picnic grounds. The event is free. Seating is limited, so be sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
New to powwows? The master of ceremonies will offer explanations of celebration throughout the weekend. The Powwow is hosted by the Suscol Intertribal Council, whose primary mission is preservation of Native American culture.
