Join us for theVosburg Neck Festival and Pow Wow on May 6-7, 2017 at Endless Mountains Nature Center in Tunkhannock, Pennslyvania. The Vosburg Neck Festival and Pow Wow will be full of recreational activities such as kayaking, canoeing, biking, naturalist guided hikes, yoga, and camping. There will be a number of interesting presenters in many locations around the property. Craft and food vendors. Music and more!
A traditional Pow Wow will also be held featuring Native Americans representing various nations in full regalia, with drumming, dancing, story telling, handmade crafts, social dances, childrens candy dance and a teaching museum. Pow Wow dancing will begin with a Grand Entry at noon each day, with intertribal dancing, public friendship dances, and a candy dance for the children.
We will have many vendors selling art, crafts, jewlery, essential oils, clothes, and food. There will be music performers both days. An silent auction will be held each day.

About Vosburg Neck
The Vosburg Neck is a beautiful, 1,000-acre geologic feature surrounded by the tightest oxbow (U-shaped curve) in the Susquehanna River. It is accessed from Route 6 between Tunkhannock and Meshoppen (at Russell Hill) via Vosburg Road. The Vosburg Neck Festival and Pow Wow is being held at the end of Vosburg Road on the grounds of Camp Lackawanna (1219 Vosburg Rd), the Endless Mountains Nature Center (1309 Vosburg Rd), and the Howland Preserve (546 Vosburg Rd).
