Be here for the annual Fort William First Nation Pow Wow on June 28-30, 2019 at the Mount McKay Pow Wow Grounds in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and experience our vibrant Ojibwe culture with tradional song, dance, food and more. A Pow Wow, like the Fort William First Nation Pow Wow, is a celebration of life, a time for healing, and a time to dance and to sing.

Fort William First Nation Pow Wow

The Fort William First Nation Pow Wow is atop sacred Animikii-wajiw in the Ojibwe language, locally written as Anemki-waucheu. Currently in Thunder Bay Thunder Mountain is called Mount Mckay. The mountain is the eastern hub of the Nor’Wester Mountains.

FWFN has a total population of 1964 members with approximately half living off reserve either within the City of Thunder Bay or the surrounding area.
