2019 Monroe Independence Day Powwow
Join us for the 7th Annual Monroe Independence Day Powwow on July 6-7, 2019 at the Hannibal Locks and Dam in Hannibal, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday of the July 4 weekend. The Monroe Independence Day Powwow is a two day traditional, non-contest powwow. Drums, dancers, demonstrators, educators, musicians and the public are welcome. Gates open at 10:00 daily. Seating is limited, so bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on.
The goal of the Monroe Independence Day Powwow is to host a powwow that will be welcoming and educational for all. We offer events and attractions for the whole family, including a variety of food and craft vendors. Enjoy native music, dancing and education.
