2019 North Country Inter Tribal Pow Wow
All are welcome at the annual North Country Inter Tribal Pow Wow on August 31 – September 1, 2019 in Newport, Maine to celebrate Native American heritage and culture with drums, dance, food vendors, traders, and so much more. The North Country Inter Tribal Pow Wow Committee hosts this annual Labor Day Event to share their Native culture and heritage with other people.

Gates open each day at 10:00am until 5:00pm
Grand Entry is at or about 12 NOON each day

A Few North Country Pow Wow Rules
- Animals are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
- There will not be any weapons or illegal drugs permitted on the Pow-wow grounds.
- These grounds are private property and all rules for the Pow-wow will be posted as you come through the gate anyone disobeying the rules will be given a verbal warning for first offense there will not be any second warnings you will be escorted off the property by our security.
Camping
Camping is free to participants listed above. Free with daily ticket upon availability. Service dogs allowed. Any pet must be under owner’s control at All times & clean up done immediately.
