Old photos and trading post records show that Brass Shoe Buttons were used by Indians to decorate numerous objects,
including vests, dresses, blankets, leggings, cradles, dance and war paraphernalia, etc. Ours are copies of
originals used in the 1700's and 1800's, made of hollow brass with a wire loop for attachment and in a yellow
brass finish and 3/8" diameter.
