Very typical stainless steel Civil War canteen with cloth cover. Covered in woolen cloth and featuring cork stopper with metal cap and connected to canteen by a chain. 3/4" cloth carrying strap encircles the canteen and is held in place by three tin loops. Available in blue or grey.

NOTE: These Civil War canteens are now made of stainless steel and ok to drink from.
