The Southern Thunder drum group was formed in 1991, but the older members had been singing together around Oklahoma long before then. The core group is comprised of ceremonial singers, either in their own tribal ceremonies, or by invitation at the ceremonies of other tribes. Most are members of the Native American Church. . .
