Product Details
This classic Integral Tip Powder Horn is closely patterned after an original illustrated in Madison Grant’s book, Powder Horns & Their Architecture, and features a lathe turned tip and an integral “band” at the base, which is also lathe turned. The butt is walnut with an applied finial, also of walnut, with a dark walnut stained finish and attached with 4 iron pins. The tip and base of the horn body was turned by Master Horner Roland Cadle, with the butt being turned and the horn completed by Master Horner Rex Reddick.
Overall length across is 14” and 2-5/8” in diameter at the butt.
