Crazy Crow's Traditional Engraved Powder Horn, 10-14" includes several "extras" also found on horns of the times. It features incised carved designs that were popular from the French & Indian War and up through the American Revolution. There's also a typical, slightly domed base plug which includes a threaded finial for easy filling, and both it and the round turned stopper are made of hardwood. Another nice touch is a double strap ring on the carved neck, and the horn itself has a pleasing antique satin finish. 10" - 14".
Crazy Crow Trading Post's 18th & 19th Century Powder Horns replicate examples produced from before the French & Indian War and up through the Fur Trade Era. Each has features inspired by actual period examples, including the base plugs, finials, and stoppers which are all turned from figured hardwood. Also appropriate to the period, the horns have either been polished out or given an antique satin finish.
