Called "Brighton Buns" after the British pastry, which they resemble when closed, these Carved Hardwood Traveling Candlesticks were a standard travel accessory from pre-Revolutionary days up through the Civil War. They screw together into a unique, compact unit. Unusual and highly practical, no traveler, explorer or touring royalty was without them. Available in hardwood with attractive decorative carving. Our Carved Hardwood Traveling Candlesticks are 3-3/4" in diameter, standing 2-1/2" tall when assembled and 1-1/4" closed. Candles not included.  Note:  Candles may need to be trimmed to fit into the candlesticks snugly.
