Needle sizes are like bead sizes; the larger the number the smaller the size. A #10 needle can be used with 10/0 beads, a #11 with 11/0, and so on. The #12 Sharps and #15 Beading needles are the smallest sizes available so they are best for 14/0 to 16/0 beads. However, some beads may have holes that are too small even for these needles.

I've been using Nymo thread for years & years. Over 35yrs. Never had a problem with it. I buy the spools because the cones are horrible. They knot like crazy. The wax won't stick to it. I still have the cone I bought because it makes you say bad words if you try to bead anything with it. I just taught a beading class where they got this cone & the students were so frustrated with the thread knotting up constantly that I broke out my Nymo on spools just to get the class taught. I don't know what the difference is but it's a big one.
