Excellent reproductions of the old delicate soft colors used in pre-1940 beadwork by Plains, Plateau, Great Lakes and Woodland tribes. Although the Salvadori factory has closed, we have a wide range of sizes and colors available in these wonderful old beads. They are easily mixed with our Old Time German and Old Stock Italian and French beads to obtain the colors you need. This was common in old work and many of today's accomplished beadworkers continue this tradition in order to obtain the desired colors and a more authentic look. French sizes run about one size larger than Czech, Italian and German beads, so for example, if you use 12/0 French, mix it with 11/0 Czech.
