These polished buffalo horn cylinders, or rolls as they are
often called, are great for hidden tang knife handles,
powder horn spouts and tips, powder measures, spacers, etc.
and are easy to turn on a lathe or shape with files or a
belt sander. The horn is generally black but some streaking
may occur, which often lends unique character to the
finished piece. Easy to work by lathe turning, filing or sanding, they take a nice polish.
