During the Civil War and throughout the Indian Wars, Military Uniform Sashes were required for Army officers.
Army regulations required officers to wear a silk sash wrapped twice around the waist and tied on the left side.
These were also very popular with the Indian people of the Southern Plains, as evidenced in many of the old
photographs of the period.
Available in Wine for Line Officers, Buff for General & Staff Officers, Green for Medical and Sharpshooters, and
Red for NCO's. Officer's sashes are a silk-like synthetic and NCO's are a wool blend. Both are excellent copies of
the originals and approximately 120" long.
