Copper English Trade Kettle with hammered sheet metal bail lugs, made by both French & English, found their way across North
America from the Great Lakes to the Pacific. Excavated examples in copper and brass date from the early 1700s
and well into the 1800s. Our copper English Trade Kettle is based on an actual artifact, holding approximately a 1/2 gallon, and is tin-lined for food
safety. This kettle measures 5" H x 7.5" W, weighs approximately 25 ounces, and is the perfect size for trekking and period camping.
