Our small (1/2 Gallon) Trade Kettle is based on originals constructed of tinned sheet iron. These trade kettles are typical of those made by English craftsmen and brought to America for the Indian trade some time in the early 18th century and continuing through the late 1870s. Crazy Crow's reproduction kettles are made of stainless steel with lead free solder for food safety and to prevent rusting. It features a heavy duty steel bail and a lid with a wooden knob so you won't burn your fingers when checking the stew!
