We have improved our early American style 'tin' cups by using stainless steel with a brushed finish that looks similar to the originals that were made in the old method using hot-dipped tin. We did this to eliminate potential rusting and improve food safety. These new American style 'tin' cups are heavy duty and durable, with reinforced rolled edges on the lip and handle and are great for camp life.
We use the word 'tin' in our product name since most folks refer to these as “tin cups” and are searching online this way. We feel these are an excellent value as stainless steel is food safe and will not rust.

Ordered a tin mixing bowl period correct, for what 20th century. Got a stainless steel bowl. Still have a soup bowl coming, I hope it is correct. Description says nothing about being stainless or I would not have ordered it. Everything I hVe gotten from you with this order or in past orders, was pretty much what i expected. Been pleased with goods and service. Mixing bowl disappoints me.
