Product Details
We’ve just received the last of the very popular 18” Algonquin Style Warclubs. The only ones that were available in this style are in what Fred calls his “2nd quality”, but they are in fact almost as nice as his first quality. A few have a minor stress crack or two, but these have been filled and are hardly noticeable. Most are straight-grain, Hard Maple, with a few in the desirable Spalted Maple, Ash and Sweet Gum. We are offering this at a lower price, and we feel sure you will be pleased with them. These, too, are a limited-quantity, special purchase, and they probably won’t last long.
Ball head clubs were often made depicting an animal with the ball in its mouth, and as these are unfinished, you can customize them to your liking. With light sanding, some stain and an oil finish, they will be a fine example of the originals! Made in Pennsylvania by our good friend, Fred Miller, these are exact copies of original clubs from museum collections.
