Gut Hafting Cordage is used for hafting stone blades or points, dried pig gut can also be used for sewing as well as twisting into several plies when wet and allowed to dry for making a primitive bow string. To use simply soak in cool water until rehydrated and pliable. On drying, it shrinks, becoming very tight. Used as is, not split, and it can be spread out wider when softened, making a very strong, thin wrap.
