Our Pink Rose Shell Rectangular Cut Heishi is temporarily strung on strands that are are 16" long. Unlike most of our other shell heishi, the individual pieces are square to rectangular in shape, with a cream to light pink color.
Heishi are the simple yet elegant wafer-like tubular beads which have been used in the jewelry of many cultures from ancient Egypt to the American Southwest. In the Santo Domingo Pueblo of New Mexico the art and craft of heishi making reached its highest form of refinement.
