These 12"-14" #2 Quality White Turkey Wing Feathers are feathers that didn't make the 'cut' for our first quality turkey feathers, but are fine for projects that don't require that quality level. We try to offer our customers the best feathers available to match their project, so if your project doesn't require perfect feathers, why pay for them. We go through our own selection process in house. After this selection process for #1 quality feathers, we often accumulate a quantity of wings that didn’t quite make the cut. There are several reasons for this: discoloration in places, length too small, breaks in the spine, lack of fullness, etc. These feathers can certainly still be used for several projects and we are happy to pass the savings along to you. Unlike bulk and select feathers, seconds are not sold in 1/2 right 1/2 left quantities. We sell them purely by weight and the left/right percentage is random.
