About the Kit Fox (Vulpes macrotis): A fox of the arid and semi-arid western United States and northern Mexico. Its range includes portions of California and the Great Basin eastward into the Southwest and western Texas. It is particularly associated with deserts, shrublands and open dry country. This makes the Kit Fox the most distinctly American Southwest/Western fox of those offered by Crazy Crow.
