Product Details

A trial shipment of our new Leather Fall Front Knee Breeches just came in, and they are receiving great reviews (see below)! Leather was the blue jeans of the day, and they were worn almost universally from the mid-18th century up through the early 1800s. Made from soft tanned cow hide with historically styled pewter buttons, our breeches also feature period correct front pockets. The seat is cut extra full to provide adequate room when sitting, and the back is gusseted and laced for extra adjustment. Knee bands are incorporated as well, in case you prefer to replace the buttons with buckles.

These are high waisted, so, to get a true size before ordering, measure above your waist at the point where they will be worn. Typically, this is the size above your normal pant size. Available in Regular Length as well as Long Length for taller fellows.

Leather Front Fall Knee Breeches sizes: 32 Long, 34 Long, 36 Reg, 36 Long, 38 Long, 40 Reg, 40 Long, 42 Reg, 42 Long, 44 Reg, 44 Long, 46 Reg, 46 Long

Our First Review

I received my breeches the other week and just wanted to give you some initial feedback:
  • I ordered 34 regulars, and the fit is spot on and pc - loose in the seat and snug in the thighs, just as they should be.
  • overall finish and construction seem very sound, and the leather quality seems good.
  • I wasnt sure how well I would like the pewter buttons, but I like the ones you chose, and they look good.
  • Should go without saying, but they are a tremendous value.
  • I have not worn them to an event yet, but I owe you a follow-up once I get some wear on them.
  • Thanks, JJ Patterson

As leather breeches are extremely difficult to find without making them yourself, these are a relatively inexpensive alternative. While not buckskin, they appear to be upholstry grade stained leather, manufactured in India or Pakistan. A few initial issues but again, not bad for the price.

Very pleasantly surprised! Out of the box they are tight (which they should be) and wearable! Wearing them around the farm to break them in. Very excited to find this item available!! TY Crazy Crow!
