Bearberry leaves were traditionally mixed with tobacco and/or sumac leaves by Indians and frontier people to form kinni-kinnick, "Indian Tobacco". Natives use it as an astringent, diuretic, tonic and for treatment of diarrhea, dysentery and chronic kidney & bladder afflictions.

4 OZ package?!? I ordered one, and it seemed like a lot more than that. The bag was stuffed FULL. Very pleased. A definite bargain.
