I purchased the Deluxe Tennessee Belt Axe on 1/14/26 and received it 2 days later on 1/16/2026. Awesome communications and super fast shipping. I bought the deluxe Tenn Belt axe because I wanted as close a replica to an authentic belt axe that was not some token peace pipe but a typical Revolutionary war period belt axe/tomahawk. I know there are many types out their but this is very similar to the British East India Company made in that time period. I wanted it to look older and realistic for a display in my home. This is exactly the appearance and feel of what i expected. They are not very big and or massive. But in my hand I could easily feel how they may have cut small wood to start camp fires or used as close combat self defense during the war period. I am very pleased with the quality , the look , feel and service I got on this product. The only disappointment with it is the head slightly wobbles and is not tight to the wood handle. Mine is for display and wont be handled much. I will try to figure a well to tighten it up without altering its appearance before mounting it for display. However other then that , I am well pleased with this belt axe. I will certainly use Crazy Crow again if I find other products that i desire to purchase that they sell.
Great head, bad handle

I purchased this little axe a year ago and the handle broke the first time I used it! The wood is way to soft and the head almost hit me on its way down. Overall the blade is great at 2 inches and after fashioning my own handle it cuts down 2 inch diameter branches w/ ease! It is also so light you barely notice it. I read Woodcraft by Nessmuk and believe in the "Nessmuk trio w/ addition of saw". The blade takes an edge and holds it great, the hammer side is not hardened and has small chips in steel after lightly pounding small metal tent pegs into ground. I purchased both this model and fancy Kentucky belt axe. This has a thin blade and is good for cutting, the Kentucky (Ft. Meigs) has a thicker blade and is good for splitting (even 8 inch diameter pine logs w/ ease)which is why I prefer it to the Tennessee along w/ a folding saw. Worth money if your willing to make a handle for it I used a broken tomahawk handle and made a 14 inch handle
