These Flat Fan Handles - Curved Wing Style are nicely shaped and fully sanded by hand to give you the best finished product possible. An absolute pleasure to bead compared to other handles. Measuring 7" long by 3" wide, they are perfect for the larger fans used in Powwow regalia and certainly can be cut down and reshaped to fit smaller fans.
The flat fan is a favorite object that has been carried by the American Indian for many years and is found in a number of different styles over a wide region of the United States. It is most commonly carried by both male and female dancers and other powwow participants, as well as being used for religious purposes.
