Create your own custom style hat for that original and authentic look! Headgear varied widely, according to individual preference, as captured in period paintings of Alfred Jacob Miller and other artists, from the French & Indian War, throughout the Fur Trade and the Civil War. You can make your own unique trapper, Tricorn, round hat or slouch hat by cutting or modifying the brim, crown or crease, adding a sweatband and hatband, and further trimming it out to your taste.
