Patterned exactly from a museum example, this authentic early trade knife features
a heavy carbon steel blade with integral guard/bolster and decorative file
markings that serve as additional gripping surfaces when in use. The authentic
maker mark of "Southern & Richardson" is etched into the blade and the tapered
handle is slightly oval in shape with a great feel. Made of genuine Camwood, a
medium brown hardwood with a nice grain pattern. This is the same wood that
was used on many original trade knives. Overall length is 9-1/2" and a fitted
leather sheath is included.
