This style was commonly traded in the Southwest at places
like Taos and Bent's Fort, and is an extremely versatile,
personal knife for use in camp and on the trail. We've
recreated these from an example in the Museum of the Fur
Trade, with bone or horn grips. The original size, with
a 5-3/4" blade, is just right as a utility or belt knife.
We've also designed a great "mini" size that features a
4" blade and is perfect as a bag knife and eatin' tool.
Both are complete with period correct leather scabbards
with belt loops.
