Alabama Confederate Bowie Knife w-Hardwood Handle, 17-1/4" Blade

I already owned a D-guard Bowie by a different maker which is the same basic proportions but is less historically accurate in design. I love it but wanted a more authentic one. The Alabama D-guard you sell fit the bill! It's a very well constructed & solid piece; and at a shockingly good price! (My other D-guatd was slightly more when I got it but currently sells for almost 2x the price!) The Alabama looks great & feels great. It's a bit heftier than my other one but not heavy or dead feeling just more like a heavy machete or small hatchet/tomahawk. As such it would be a superb camp tool I think. If you like Confederate knives, D-guard Bowie's, history or just love short swords/BIG knives you really won't go wrong with this one! As a side note seller communication was great & shipping arrived exactly when estimated! Bravo!
