Sheffield Butcher Trade Knife
This large scale tang butcher knife was one of the most popular styles of trade knives, as well as the handiest for all around camp use. Ours is reproduced from an original and features pinned, hardwood scales and an 8" long carbon steel blade stamped with the well known "Snake Brand * Sheffield" and snake logo and comes with a leather sheath.
History records that by the mid-1800's, the Kitchin family, known for their distinctive rattlesnake logo, was already making knives in the Sheffield area.
