Dating from 1830's, this hefty knife was originally made for
the American trade by Wm. Jackson of Sheffield, England. Its
10" spearpoint Bowie blade is hand-forged from carbon steel,
with a heavy brass guard and 6 brass pins that affix the
beautiful rosewood grips. Included is an authentic scabbard
of heavy black leather, with a formed brass throat which is
typical of those of the period. Overall length is 15-1/2".
